San Miguel Unleashes Season-High Scoring Barrage, Flattens Titan Ultra 158–117
San Miguel Beermen put the entire league on notice after delivering its most explosive outing of the season, dismantling the Titan Ultra Giant Risers in a 158–117 wire-to-wire victory in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup on Wednesday night at the Ynares Center in Montalban, Rizal.
The defending champions showed exactly why they remain the benchmark in the league, flashing unmatched depth and rhythm on both ends.
June Mar Fajardo headlined the night with a milestone performance, logging the first triple-double of his PBA career with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists as San Miguel extended its winning streak to five games. The Beermen improved to 5–2, now part of a crowded second-place group.
CJ Perez fueled the early onslaught, exploding for 24 first-half points — including a perfect 3-of-3 from long range — to help SMB build an overwhelming 79–38 halftime cushion. He finished with 26 points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals to pace the Beermen.
San Miguel’s firepower didn’t end there. Jericho Cruz nearly couldn’t miss, dropping 24 points on an impressive 8-of-9 shooting. Don Trollano added 20, Jeron Teng chipped in 15 and six boards, while Andreas Cahilig and Mo Tautuaa contributed 11 and 10, respectively. Kris Rosales also reached double figures with 10, underscoring how widespread the damage was.

With the Beermen shooting at full throttle, Titan Ultra simply couldn’t keep up. The Giant Risers fell to 2–5 despite five players scoring in double digits. Von Pessumal led the way with 21 points, Joshua Munzon followed with 20, Calvin Abueva added 16, and Damie Cuntapay delivered 15. Jerrick Balanza and Ato Ular added 10 apiece, but the deficit built early proved insurmountable.

San Miguel, now one of the hottest teams in the conference after dropping its first two games, looks to stay red-hot when it faces TNT Tropang 5G next on December 5. Titan Ultra will attempt to regroup as it battles the NLEX Road Warriors on Sunday, November 16.
