Qualification
EJ Obiena qualified for the pole vault finals at the Paris Olympics. The Olympian secured his spot in the final round after finishing seventh overall in the qualification round.
Obiena will now have a chance to improve on his 11th place finish from the previous Olympics.

Filipino pole vault sensation EJ Obiena narrowly missed out on an Olympic medal, finishing fourth in the highly-competitive men’s pole vault final.
The world number two cleared 5.90m but failed to clear the 5.95m bar in three attempts.
