Qualification

Filipino gymnastics sensation Carlos Yulo has secured his spot in three finals at the 2024 Paris Olympics, putting him in prime position to win the country’s first-ever Olympic gold medal in the sport.

Yulo qualified for the finals of the all-around, floor exercise, and vault events after an impressive performance in the qualification round. He finished second in the floor exercise, showcasing his world-class talent and precision. In the vault, he clinched the sixth spot, demonstrating his power and consistency.

Despite facing challenges in the pommel horse and rings, Yulo’s overall performance was enough to secure a spot in the all-around final, where he finished ninth overall.

The all-around final will be held on July 31, while the floor exercise and vault finals are scheduled for August 3 and 4, respectively.

Vault Final

Carlos Yulo earned his second gold medal with a flawless performance in the men’s vault finals.

Yulo impressed the judges with his first vault, netting an outstanding 15.433 points. He followed up with a strong second vault, earning 14.800 points. His average score of 15.116 points was enough to secure the top spot on the podium, adding to his gold medal in the men’s floor exercise.
